Hove & Kingsway BC - other activities

Apart from our busy summer bowling programme Hove & Kingsway BC keep up an
interesting range of activities throughout the winter.  As a bowls club that is obviously
an important activity for most of our members and, during the winter, we meet that need
with a number of fixtures arranged against indoor clubs in the south east region and London.

The licensed bar is open throughout the year, lunchtimes and evenings and
our catering staff serve a range of reasonably priced food at lunchtimes (except Mondays).

We have a full sized snooker table and a pool table, that appear during the
winter months and the club enters teams in the local pool and snooker leagues.

Regular, well attended music nights and bingo events take place throughout the year, usually
on Friday or Saturday evenings. These help to keep members in touch with each other and are a

Sunday lunchtimes are a recognised time for members to meet in the bar to swap stories of how that
last game was lost, or occasionally, won!  We run a meat raffle and there is a chance for a member to
win a 'snowball' of anything over £5.00 if the member is in the club when the 'draw' takes place!
